My Products

I design 100% cotton swim diapers and matching shirts with both safety and style in mind.

Diapers: Made entirely of cotton, perfect for swimming, gentle on delicate skin, and eco-friendly. They come in white, yellow, pink, green, dark blue, light blue, and red, with 10 unique logos — one for each color. My diapers do not cause allergies and are safe for babies’ sensitive skin.
Shirts: White with colored trim, designed to match the diapers and create a coordinated, stylish set. They are also made from 100% cotton.

The Inspiration

As a mother of three, I faced the frustrations that inspired this business. When I first took my daughter Javi to the beach as a baby, I noticed how plastic diapers swelled in water, caused skin allergies, and sometimes fell apart. Searching for cloth swim diapers in stores, I found none — and that’s when I decided to make my own. I began crafting diapers from cotton fabric, which is hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly. This journey started back in 1997, when I made my very first diapers in my garage.

From Garage to Global

I was one of the first to create swim diapers in the U.S. What started as a personal solution quickly became a success. I sold to family and friends, then to local stores in New York, and eventually to families in Central America — from Honduras, Panama, and Guatemala.

My Mission

My mission has always been to help parents reconsider plastic diapers, which can cause allergies and harm the environment. Today, I am proud to see more brands embracing sustainable options — it shows that the mindset is changing. Cutie Baby Cotton Wear is one of the few U.S. brands making a real contribution to children’s well-being and environmental protection. I am also proud to offer matching diaper and shirt sets, making babies look coordinated and stylish.

A Personal Note

Today, I am a mother of three, a grandmother, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. I feel proud knowing that every diaper and shirt I create contributes to healthier babies and a cleaner planet.
